Q. What are the qualifications that your employees hold?

We only recruit people who are finance graduates with minimum 2 years experience. After hiring, our employees undergo rigorous training for 3 months under senior staff, in which all the protocols and processes are taught. Most of our bookkeepers are quickbooks proadvisor, Xero certified CPAs or have multiple other certifications. All professionals working in our Service Centers are trained in US GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Q. How easy is it to change my Bookkeeper/ Accountant?

Its a very straightforward process. Our accountant will ger in touch with you to take all the relevane business details & you need to give us access to your books. As we are used to work with variety of books, we will eqsily comprehend them and then take up to the next stage.

Q. How will you start the outsourcing process?

After understanding your requirements& completion of the all requirements, we will take the process as below:

1. Information Sharing: After understanding your requirements and finalization of other formalities like NDA, payment terms etc., we will ask you for the relevant documents and data access.

2. Service Trial: We will perform some tasks for you on trial basis so that you can gauge our competency and we can understand your requirements practically. It is here that we iron out all the discrepancies/ prospective issues in bookkeeping process.

3. Project Finalize: If you are satisfied with our services, which we are sure of, we will assign a dedicated bookkeeper to you and will share all the relevant contact info of bookkeeper directly.

Q. Can you help me to migrate from Old Accounting Package??

Yes, Our team is Experienced in variety of accounting packages and softwares. We evaluate your business requirements & help you choose best accounting package that synergize with your business. We migrate your data 100% foolproof with all the details captured.

Q. How much time do you take to complete my books?

Every organization is different and not all books are same. The time required depends on the nauture & number of transactions. However we our bookkeeper gives you an estimated time of every task before starting.

Q. Who services my account?

We will dedicate a bookkeeper to you as per your choice and he will be fully responsible for taking care of your accounting needs. He will communicate with you on regular basis through his phone / skype / email / slack etc.

Your bookkeeper is supported by a team of accountants, that provides internal support, backup & keep reviewing your books periodically.

Q. How can i speed up my bookkeeping process?

By providing required data ASAP. As soon as you provide the data after month close, we just need 5 days to complete the books and send reports.

However, A lot of our clients provide us, view only access to their bank/card/paypal accounts & invoicing platforms, which we use to login ourselves at end of month and provide reports within 5 days.

Q. Do you provide Invoicing, Bill Management or other related services?

Yes! We do provide these and additional services to our clients depending on their unique requirements. How do Deskerra's bookkeeping services work with my CPA?

Majority of our Clientage usually hires us for their Accounting & Taxation needs. However, In case you want to take services of your CPA, we usually prepare End of Year report package for all our clients with "Notes to Readers". This helps your CPA to understand the books and various accounting treatments we have done. Also we communicate with them directly and answer any questions they might have.

I am very busy during the working week - can you be contacted during evenings and weekend?

Yes! Some members of our team work late evenings & on sundays too so as to be in touch with clients and to handle any urgent needs. You can discuss this requirement at the time of onboarding & we will be happy to assist.

Will I be able to speak to my Accountant whenever I want?

Yes! Our Team is available from Mondays to Fridays , 8 AM to 5 PM PST. You can Mail / Call / Slack / Skype your accountant and he will respond immediately and resolve your queries/issues in 24 hrs.

Q. How will you bill me?

We will have a recurring payment setup on your card or paypal account. The payment will be deducted automatically on the 30th of month for the services done for that month.

Q. How can I end the contract?

Rarely has our client excercised this option. However just in case you need to, Just send a mail or call us. Services will be ended then and there itself.

We will refund you 100% of the money. Since we are confident about our quality of service, we can afford to guarantee 100% refund.

Q. Do you need written Contracts to start?

No, we don’t need any formal contracts to start. However, if you want to enter into a formal contract, we will be happy to do so.
